Happy Thanksgiving

November 25th, 2010 jedisergei 6 comments

Hello everybody. Today I wanted to share a card that I made a long time ago. It is a  card that I’m very impressed about. But before I tell you my card I want to wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving! I want to thank you for leaving your comments.  I am also am thankful for my fabulous family my very helpful and artistic mom, my dad who pays for our house and for my furry little sister who is so sweet. I also am thankful for a roof over me and the food on our table. I also made a Thanksgiving poem, here it is.

I’m Thankful

…for a messy room,

Because it means I have a house.

… for being yelled at,

Because it means I have a family.

…for being sad,

Because it means I have friends to comfort me

…for going to school,

Because I get educated.

Now onto my card, I made this card because it was in the middle of the baseball season and I like baseball so I decided to make a baseball card. For my stamp I used Baseball Ian from the Greeting Farm. I really love the Greeting Farm. I used designer paper from the K & Company. I did some sponging around the edges and my mom made a little baseball for me.

Also, I’m going to watch football today. The games that are on are New York Jets vs. Cincinnati Bengals, Detroit Lions vs. New England Patriots and New Orleans Saints at Dallas Cowboys.

Hope you have a great Thanksgiving!

Thank You for Visiting,

Sergei

My Trip to Minnesota

November 24th, 2010 jedisergei 3 comments

Hello everybody today I want to tell you about my trip to Minnesota. We went there on September 24th and stayed there for 3 days. I had the time of my life.

First we went to Minnesota Science Museum it was awesome they had everything from playgrounds to dinosaurs bones. They had stuff about Astronomy, rivers, our body, water, electricity and of course dinosaurs. They had lots of other things there too. But, my favorite parts were probably about the dinosaurs and electricity. I learned lots of things about science there.

Now moving on, I got to see my favorite team play in real life it was the best day of my life. It was so so amazing. The Vikings were playing the Lions and the won 24-10. I was so happy! We sat in the end zone they were very good seats. My favorite part of the game was when Adrian Peterson (who is also one of my favorite players) broke an 80 yard touchdown! I was screaming with joy! I would never forget this day!

Last but not least before we left we went to the Minnesota Zoo I loved it. It had all of my favorite animals like the sea otter they are so cute. It’s funny he comes out of his cave and has a ball in his hands while floating on his back and going in circles. I also liked the snow monkeys and the big cats (tigers, lions, pumas, cheetahs, etc.). They had a ton of animals there. Some of them were really big like the brown bears which are located in the Russian Grizzly Coast. It was very cool to see all the animals there.

Truly, my trip to Minnesota is a trip I will never forget.

Hugs,

Sergei

Rocket Billy

Hello Everybody I hope you had a great Sunday.

Today I’m going to show you a card I made. This is a little different  type of style card to me. Because I didn’t know what to do to with the paper so I ended up doing this choice. The stamp is from The Pink Cat Studios, Billy Set.

On the top right corner is Bill’s sidekick dog. On the bottom left is the sentiment “Your Super!” I decided to make a story about him. Hope you enjoy.

One day Billy was reading his superman comics and he wanted to be a superhero like superman. So he put on his Halloween costume and gave his dog a cape and turned into superman and his sidekick underdog. He decided to go  outside and act like superman on a secret mission. After the day was over he had dreams of him being a hero!

Hello Everybody,

Sorry my blog hasn’t been working lately. But my dad was able to fix it and now I’m back online! So, to start out today a couple of weeks ago my dad and I went to the Minnesota Vikings Training Camp which is my favorite football team. When we were there we got autographs and I got to go to a camp for kids. Where I learned football skills with the Mankato Collage Football Team.  I had lots of fun there and we took a lot of pictures so I decided to make a slide show. Enjoy!

Thank You for Coming and Hope you Enjoyed!

Hello everybody! I’m back!

Sorry I’m really lazy with posting on my blog.

I would like to thank everyone for your kind Birthday wishes! Today I’ll show some thank you cards I made for my some of my friends!

This card is for Anna. This card is very small; it’s like the actual size on the picture. The sentiment stamp is from her and the mouse stamp is from Our Craft Lounge. The sentiment says “a little note of thanks” I thought it worked perfect with this little card! I also added some little gems on the side and a dragonfly by the stamp!

Aloha!

Aloha

Aloha

Hello everybody, and Happy Sunday!

Today I wanted to make a summer card, since it is almost summer and it is like summer already here in Lake Mills.  To start,  my mom printed for me this Turtle Kona from Our Craft Lounge, the set is called Hangin’ Loose with Kona. I chose the one where he is standing with his surf board. I colored the image using colored pencils and markers. I colored the surf board and his body with markers; with the colored pencils I colored his swimming trunks, the sand, and the little crab. I also added some glitter to his eyes because eyes sparkle, right! I colored the sand using different browns and mixing them together. When I was coloring the first little crab I messed up on him, so I decided to cut him off and make a new one and it was much better. Then I cut the image out and used pop-up dots to put the crab on to the rest of the image. After all of that I was trying to figure out the layout,  it was easy. I used an oval Nestabilities and colored the inside light with colored pencil and the outside dark. I took a blue with some green paper to match him and the surf board, and took an orange striped paper to match his swimming trunks and the crab. Then I thought something was missing  on the side, so I added a ribbon with dots that match the paper. Ribbon always helps me when I think something is missing! Finally, I added the sentiment Aloha and colored it with colored pencils blue and green. After  I finished the outside of the card, I decided to do an inside.  I added the dotted paper on the bottom and put the striped paper on top.

Then I just added some white paper  to write in. When I closed the card and opened up again to check if something  was wrong, something was wrong! I did the  inside on the top instead of the bottom! But thank goodness I didn’t glue the cover on so tight because I could just easily peal it off and put on the back!

Thanks for stopping by and thank you so much for your comments!

                                                                                                        Sincerely,

                                                                                                                          Sergei

My Scrapbook- Cover and Pg.1

May 31st, 2009 jedisergei 1 comment

Hello everyone! You know when I said I’m not going to show my scrapbook till I’m done with it? We have only done one page in it so far it’s because my mom is busy. So, since I was so exited I’m going to show you the page that we did that day and the cover! We haven’t picked a picture for the cover yet, so it’s just the picture it came with –  compass.  On the cover they have a map of the world on it and the pictures of all the big cities. It also has some rivers and  the oceans.

This page is when I got a cool scooter for an early birthday at Spring ’08. It was a gift from Mom and Dad. I used some stickers around the writing. The writing says: “Last Spring ’08 I got this cool scooter for an early Birthday the gift was from Mom and Dad”.

Owl be There

Owl be There

Owl be There

Hello!  Sorry I haven’t  been posting for a while. It’s because I have school work and I am basically just lazy. So,  today I would like to show you one card I wanted to post long ago. The stamp I used for this card was from The Greeting  Farm. I just love their stamps and it is from the same set called Forest Friends. It is the last stamp in the set that I’m using and it’s the owl. First, my mom, of course, stamped the image for me. Then I colored the owl’s head a light brown the bottom and the eyelids I colored a dark brown. Then i colored the beak  yellow. And as you can see I colored the leaves green. Next, my mom and I were thinking about the layout. We had problems figuring out the layout. Then, we finally thought of one. We decided to make a tree trunk because thats where owl,s live in a tree trunk with a hole in it, right. So, we found tree trunk paper and made a hole in it by using a circle punch. We put the owl next to  it’s hole and made. We used pop-up dots to put on the owl. Then we made moon light glowing in the hole. Because owl’s are awake at night. We put our sentiment,  Owl be there on the moon light. We bent the sentiment a little so it could fit on paper. We put the moon light with the sentiment on it inside the card so it looks it’s glowing inside the trunk.

Then, I thought some thing was missing so we added a border from a border punch and added it to the top and bottom of the card. I hope you like the card I made and Thank you for all the nice comments you posted on my blog!
