My Birthday!
Hello everyone! And happy Friday!
Today is the day I’ve been waiting for! School is OUT! But the bad news is my parents singed me up for summer school so It’s basically not over for me. But at least I have a week off, till summer school!
So, today I will show the presents I got for my Birthday so far because some presents are not here yet, like the presents I’m getting from my relatives in Russia. The first present I got was from Rita! She gave me a book called, 365 Things to Make and Do! It has all sorts of great ideas! Thanks a lot Rita!
Now to the presents my parents gave me. I got a lot of Minnesota Viking (My Favorite Team) football cards! I have a big football card collection! And I need to have my own Minnesota Vikings album to fit all the cards in one album! I also got a new, Minnesota Vikings, mouse pad from my parents! It has there Viking Logo on it! It is so cool. I also got some video games and movies from them! Thank you very, very much Mom and Dad!
And last but not least, I got some of the best presents from my cat Ginger Bell! She gave me some Viking stuff to but, even better, she gave me stuff from my favorite player on the Vikings, Adrian Peterson! My cat gave a lot of cards of him! Two came with frames! She also gave my very first Jersey of him! When I opened the jersey I screamed and quickly put it on to see how it looked and it was perfect! I loved it! Thank you so much Ginger Bell.
Hope you liked my post and thanks for stopping by!

Aloha!
Hello everybody, and Happy Sunday!
Today I wanted to make a summer card, since it is almost summer and it is like summer already here in Lake Mills. To start, my mom printed for me this Turtle Kona from Our Craft Lounge, the set is called Hangin’ Loose with Kona. I chose the one where he is standing with his surf board. I colored the image using colored pencils and markers. I colored the surf board and his body with markers; with the colored pencils I colored his swimming trunks, the sand, and the little crab. I also added some glitter to his eyes because eyes sparkle, right! I colored the sand using different browns and mixing them together. When I was coloring the first little crab I messed up on him, so I decided to cut him off and make a new one and it was much better. Then I cut the image out and used pop-up dots to put the crab on to the rest of the image. After all of that I was trying to figure out the layout, it was easy. I used an oval Nestabilities and colored the inside light with colored pencil and the outside dark. I took a blue with some green paper to match him and the surf board, and took an orange striped paper to match his swimming trunks and the crab. Then I thought something was missing on the side, so I added a ribbon with dots that match the paper. Ribbon always helps me when I think something is missing! Finally, I added the sentiment Aloha and colored it with colored pencils blue and green. After I finished the outside of the card, I decided to do an inside. I added the dotted paper on the bottom and put the striped paper on top.
Then I just added some white paper to write in. When I closed the card and opened up again to check if something was wrong, something was wrong! I did the inside on the top instead of the bottom! But thank goodness I didn’t glue the cover on so tight because I could just easily peal it off and put on the back!
Thanks for stopping by and thank you so much for your comments!
Sincerely,
Sergei
