Countdown to Christmas – Day 1

Hello Everyone!

Did you see the title of my blog entry? Well, I decided to post every day for 24 days before Christmas. I always was amazed by other bloggers how they can be so up to date and do fun stuff on their crafting pages. Let see if I can do it too. 🙂

Day 1 – a card with Anya from my favorite stamping company The Greeting Farm. There is a challenge at TGF blog, Anything Goes is a theme for this week. I am entering this card.

P.S. We already put our Christmas tree up. It’s so pretty! I like the lights and all the cute decorations we have on it. I also listen to Christmas music lately. Keeps me in good and magical mood. 🙂

Как вам заголовок моего сообщения на сегодня? Отсчет до Рождества – День 1. В общем, я решила побыть организованной и размещать посты каждый день до Рождества. Меня всегда восхищали те люди, которые не запускают свои блоги, постоянно печатаются и не теряют своих читателей, делают свой блог интересным.

Смогу ли я ? Попробую. 🙂

День 1 – октрытка с Анечкой от моей любименькой компании штампиков The Greeting Farm. Как раз на блоге этой компании проходит конкурс – создать открытку на любую тему. Как насчет открытки к Дню Рождения? Учавствуем, может выиграем.

Morning with a Smile

Thank you for stopping by today.

I put together this pretty card with two stamps – The Greeting Farm stamp (Anya) and Lawn Fawn set. I love how it turned out.

I think this kind of a card can start everyone’s morning with the smile. It doesn’t really matter what time of the day, we need to remember to smile and be kind. 🙂

This card was also inspired by the sketch at Mojo Monday blog (just realized that I’m late to enter into the contest).

С открыткой хочу поучавствовать в конкурсе от блога The Greeting Farm. Тема задания – использовать любимый элемент украшения на открытке. Как вы думаете, без чего я не представлюя свою открытку? Без пуговичек! Нравятся мне они и все тут. Может это своего рода память из детства. Мне всегда нравилось перебирать шкатулку с пуговичками у мамы и бабушки. Особенно у бабушки. 🙂 Вообще очень скучаю по своей бабулечке…

Good Morning!

… I am not sure if I was telling here at my blog that my son broke his arm about two months ago. He had a very serious break on his growth bone plus two others (right on the wrist). A success of healing was really relied on how the doctor will put the broken bones in place and then put a hard cast. It happens that we were lucky to get an excellent doctor who did a wonderful job. My son is cast free for almost two weeks now, and he can play baseball again.

Couple of days ago he asked me if we can send a thank you card to this doctor. I was totally with him on this idea. I asked to choose a stamp and made a card using TGF stamp. It looks like my son liked the card because when he came from school he asked if he can sign it. I was very touched when I glanced inside the card. We already sent this card and hope it will find our doctor. 🙂

I also would like to participate in TGF challenge since this week it is Anything Goes.

Доброе утро!

Не знаю, говорила ли я вам о том, что около двух месяцев назад мой сын сломал руку в области запастья. Перелом был серьезный, одна из трех сломанных косточек была “растущей”. Процесс заживания большей степенью зависел от того, как правильно доктор вправит кость перед тем, как поставят гипс. Мы попали в руки к очень хорошему доктору. Он помог моему мальчику! И вот как почти две недели сняли гипс!

Мой ребенок спросил, можно ли нам отправить открытку нашему спасителю. Конечно, я поддержала эту идею. Сынуля выбрал штампик для открытки, а я с огромным удовльствием ее сотворила. Приехав со школы, сынуля сразу взялся за открытку и оставил там слова, которые меня очень тронули…

Вчера открытку отправили в поликлинику, очень хотим, чтобы она нашла адресата. Оказывается, не легко найти нашего доктора.

Sorry for such long absence at my blog. I missed you… Did you miss me?

I want to start my back to blogging mood with the card that I made not long ago. I got my pre-order for July kit from The Greeting Farm (it was my birthday gift). I loved every image in this set and every sentiment.

For the layout of my card I followed awesome sketch from Jen’s blog.

I like how it turned out. It was nice to hold pencils, papers and stamps in hands again.

From me to…

Hello!

I made this card fro two wonderful ladies at the Vision center who helped us with the eye prescription. Very knowledgeable and kind. Helped us through the whole visit, made us feel so welcome.

I decided to send them a card as appreciation of their kindness and professionalism. I thought what stamp do I have that will fit perfect to this occasion. Thanks to The Greeting Farm stamp Elena. Not only this girl has the glasses (look almost like my new glasses), but she has my name too. 🙂

This card will participate in the Farm Fresh Friday challenge. All you need to do this week is make a card in honor of all the special ladies in our lives – moms, grandmas, a special caregiver, etc..

A Birthday Gift

Hello!

My son asked me if I can make a birthday gift for his friend at school. It was a big honor for me to make this.

I started wit the crochet cat. Design and pattern from Lilleliis.

Then I made a card using The Greeting Farm stamp set. I also followed sketch fro Sweet Sunday sketch.

And to finish off, I sewed this cute pouch. Pattern from a spoonfullofsugar Etsy shop. I added a handle to it, so you can use as a little bag.

I will be very happy if my son’s friend likes it. 🙂 I will know after he comes from school.

Inky Paws Challenge

It is Friday already and it means it is time for Inky Paws Challenge at Newton’s Nook Designs blog.

This month it’s a color challenge, using a Spring Bouquet as inspiration. Looking for the colors – Pale Pink – Yellow – Lilac – Soft Green. Just lovely! 🙂

I chose to play with couple of stamps which are Versatile Vases (solid flowers), Love Grows (hearts) and Sweetheart Tails (xoxo). The design of the card is simple, I really wanted to show what you can do with the different stamps by putting them in one card.
