Two cards and Award

Hello! Wow, it is October already! Happy 1st of October everybody! Before I start showing you my cards I would like to thank you Ida for giving me Beautiful Blogger Award. Thank you so much!!! Thank you for the very nice words you wrote at your blog. It means a whole world to me. I really appreciate our friendship and I am so glad that I met you at our Wonderful Blog-land!

Beautiful Blogger Award

I wasn’t posting for several days, but I yesterday I created two cards! Can you believe? Two cards in one day is a record for me. Maybe it is because they are so simple. Well, simple doesn’t mean bad, right?

The first card was in my mind for a week. When I saw Mercy’s Sketch for the FFF Challenge I thought of participating in it that week… Time passed by so quick and I realized that I am too late to enter the challenge. Anyway I am glad that I inked up Skater Ian; I think he will be perfect for a Birthday card.

Skater Ian

My second card was inspired by the Sketch Challenge (SC300) at Splitcoaststampers. This week they have anniversary sketch! I couldn’t miss this big event! Lucky me I had a cute Witch (Sweet November Baby Trick or Treat) from C.C. Designs that my friend Anna sent to me. Thank you Anna! I don’t really have any Halloween papers, but I had some from Amy’s blog candy that I won awhile back.

After the card was finished I thought why not to enter Cupcake Inspiration Challenge. This week they have owls on the cupcakes. I hope this owl that sitting on Witch’s hat counts. 🙂

That is all for now. Thank you for stopping by and sharing your time with me! I will be back soon,

Farm Fresh Friday Challenge

FFFElenaHello to Everybody! Today is Friday and it is time for Farm Fresh Friday Challenge. And this week we have an amazing sketch by wonderful crafter Mary. I loved this sketch very much and once I saw it I knew from the beginning who will be the main character of my card and what papers will be used.

This card may look simple to you… But believe or not it looks much better in a real life. I paper pieced Miss Anya’s outfit. This is one of my favorite techniques. Added some sewing, ribbon and the card was ready… Don’t forget to stop at The Greeting Farm blog for some really fabulous projects!

Before I will finish today’s post I wanted to thank you Mary for a very special award she gave me. Why it is so special? She created it by herself! I was very touched by this. I never thought that I could be an inspiration to anybody. Thank you Mary for thinking about me and giving it to me. As you know that all of you who always visit my blog are my main inspiration, even my husband and son, and all my friends – you all give me creative juices. Some of you already have this award, but I will still try to pass it (sorry if you already have it:

That is all for today.  Thank you for taking your time and looking at my card. Your comments are priceless.

P.S. Don’t forget about the blog candy I have from Our Craft Lounge. You still have time till Sunday evening.

Thank You and more…

First Splitcoaststampers Challenge

Just saying Hi!

Just saying Hi!

Yes, this is the first time when I am participating in Splitcoaststampers Sketch Challenge! I always enjoy looking at other talented ladies cards for this challenge, but I was too shy to try… Here it is – my card for SC 221! I would like to thank you Roxie for this fun sketch and inspiration!

The main character of the card is a cute little turtle from Artful INKables. He is sticking his head out just to say you “Hi”! I wanted to share with you a fun fact about stamping. Of course the whole process of creating a scene, coloring and putting the card together is so exciting! But you can also educate yourself! How??? When I start playing with my new characters, I always try to look in the Internet or some books we have for some coloring ideas. So this way I am not only know what color I can use for some critters, but also read some facts about them! Isn’t it is so cool!

Before I finish my post I want to share with some news and award I received!

Yesterday I went to PinkCatStudio blog to check who was the lucky winner for their contest “The Next Cutie-Patootie”. When I was entering, I wasn’t even counting on winning… And I won!!!  I was a randomly selected. “Pinch me, pinch me” – I screamed when I saw it! I really love the designs of this stamping company!

Now to the award – I got this award from Andrea! Thank you so much Andrea for thinking about me and giving it to me!

3 Clovers Thursday Challenge #3

3 Clovers Thursday Challenge

3 Clovers Thursday Challenge

Hello! Today is the day for a  challenge at Three Clovers Designs with Kerry. This week you need to use GREEN as a main color and 3 different embellishments. This was a Challenge for me! The main character is Ian from The Greeting Farm. I masked the flower on the stamp and drew the shamrock. I am not a great artist, that is for sure! It was not so difficult to make a card using green color, but 3 different embellishments was not an easy task for me. After thinking and looking at my card and trying different things, I finally got an idea – how about some beads. So now I have three different embellishments – ribbon, brads and beads.

If you would like to participate in this challenge be sure to stop at Kerry’s blog and visit our very talented inspiration team as well: Lisa Somerville, Kristen Catalano, Ida Krause, Sue Kment, Mary Jo.

Hope you will have a time to join us this week!

I also wanted to share with you a card that I got from my dear friend Anna. She jut started her journey in coloring with Prisma colored pencils and Gamsol. She told me that she enjoys this technique and sent me a card with one of my favorites, Anya! I think Anna did such an amazing job coloring! Thank you Anna for your Rocking card!

Happy crafting,

Circle card

Artful INKables

Artful INKables

Today I was inspired by one of the many beautiful sketches that very talented Mercy created. Thank you Mercy very much! You always inspire me!

My main image is a little girl from Artful INKables stamp set Berry Picking. I enjoyed coloring her. I picked bright colors because I miss summer and warm days. I cut her out and attached to the card using foam dots. Little berries and leaves on the tree I colored using some of the markers I have. I think this card can be perfect for birthday in any season. Perfect for summer of course, but in winter why not – when the receiver will open the envelope he will be happy to see some bright and happy colors!

Before I finish my post today I would like to thank you Maria for the wonderful award she gave me! Thank you so much Maria!

Warm Thoughts…

Warm Thoughts...

Warm Thoughts...

I always wanted to try making a spring card. And today I finally made it! When I took the stamp set Critter County from Artful INKables, I got an idea in my head. And I made a card with a cute little raccoon who is sticking his nose in some flowers and looking at pretty butterfly. Maybe he wants this butterfly to be his friend, so they can run around the field, smell the flowers and enjoy all of the beautiful nature!  I don’t know for sure what he is thinking about… but I can tell you that he has some Warm Thoughts to you!

Without Dawn’s tutorial I would never make this card! I love her tutorials!!! She explains everything so easy and it is always fun watching her! Thank you Dawn for sharing all your wonderful tutorials and ideas!

Before I finish my post I want to thank you Vera for giving me several awards. Thank yo uso much! That is so thoughful and kind! Believe or not, but I really have a hard time on giving these awards. Maybe some of you already have them and I don’t know it… And I think that you all deserve this award! So if you don’t have this award, I will be happy to give it to you! Just let me know!

Blog Award and more…

little-critterHappy Wednesday My Friends! I am so glad that you liked the carousel that I made. Thank you so much for your kind comments!  I should probably color the Unicorn from both sides; hope I will make another one much nicer!

Today I want to show you a very easy card. First, I wanted to watercolor this scene, but no luck here… So I used Prisma colored pencils and Gamsol, I can only work with them (even not perfect!) This scene was created using a stamp set Critter Country from Artful Inkables. Again I used masking technique here. Isn’t this little critter so cute!!!

I also wanted to thank you Rita and Enjoli for the award that they gave me! Thank you so much! I was very touched!

The rules of this award are very simple:

  1. Give this award to other wonderful bloggers.
  2. Write down 5 things that you are  addicted to.

I think that all of the blogs that I visit are fabulous! So if you don’t have this award yet – I can share it with! Just let me know!

And 5 things that I am addicted to:

2. Coffee

3. Blogging

4. Stamping

5. “Doctor House” TV show (even though I don’t understand some of the medical terms)

Tomorrow we will go to the doctor office. Sergei seems to be got something bad. The secretary called from school today and said that he has a fever. He also has a headache for 5 days… I thought that it wasn’t anything serious… But headache is not good for a little guy. Also want to tell you that Sergei (he is only eight years old) just started his blog!!! Looking at his mom he decided to join us in Blogland! The name of his blog is Jedi Sergei! He writes everything by himself, doing all of the computer stuff. Just amazing how kids can learn something new so fast!!! I am sure he will be very happy to see you at his blog, when you will have a time of course!

That is all for today! Thank you for stopping by! And thank you so much for your comments.

Recipe card: Cardstock form DCWV, DP from Basic Grey, black StazOn ink, stamp set Critter Country from Artful Inkabels, flower punch from EK Success, rain dots, Prisma colored pencils, Gamsol, sentiment is from the stamp set McSplendid Farm  from  The Greeting Farm, paw print stamp from Stampendious, dye-based ink from SU

Card For A Boy

Birthday Card

Birthday Card

Good Evening My Friends!

Thank you for all your good wishes! I made the walk to school safely, and part of it is all your warm wishes.

Talking about wishes, which wishes do you usually send and write in your cards? I think that the most popular wishes are Birthday Wishes! That is why I decided to make several birthday cards in advance. So when I will need a card I will not do a last minute project.

I think that making a card for a girl or woman is easier than for a boy or man. But when I looked at Dress Me stamp set from The Greeting Farm, I changed my mind. This cute little boy is perfect for a boy themed card! And lucky me I had on hand a beautiful designer paper from the Basic Grey collection. I stamped the main image with black StazOn ink and colored with Prisma colored pencils and OMS.

To make the “boyish” look on the card I decided to distress the edges of the horizontal panel. Little brads, buttons, sentiment stamp (from the Wardrobe #1 stamp set) and the card is ready.

I think this card can be as a birthday card not only for boy, but for man as well! You know why? Because our men are the always the same kids, they never grow up. They only change the size (and price) of the toys!

Before I will finish my post I wanted to thank you Lisa for her kindness and for giving me an award – The Marie Antoinette, a Real Person, a Real Award. Thank you Lisa!

Here are the wonderful ladies that I am giving this award:

Miss 376

I understand that you all busy and maybe don’t have a time for passing this award. I will understand if you won’t be able to respond.

Thank you for stopping by and for your very appreciated comments!

Have a nice evening,
