Just saying Hi!

Yes, this is the first time when I am participating in Splitcoaststampers Sketch Challenge! I always enjoy looking at other talented ladies cards for this challenge, but I was too shy to try… Here it is – my card for SC 221! I would like to thank you Roxie for this fun sketch and inspiration!

The main character of the card is a cute little turtle from Artful INKables. He is sticking his head out just to say you “Hi”! I wanted to share with you a fun fact about stamping. Of course the whole process of creating a scene, coloring and putting the card together is so exciting! But you can also educate yourself! How??? When I start playing with my new characters, I always try to look in the Internet or some books we have for some coloring ideas. So this way I am not only know what color I can use for some critters, but also read some facts about them! Isn’t it is so cool!

Before I finish my post I want to share with some news and award I received!

Yesterday I went to PinkCatStudio blog to check who was the lucky winner for their contest “The Next Cutie-Patootie”. When I was entering, I wasn’t even counting on winning… And I won!!!  I was a randomly selected. “Pinch me, pinch me” – I screamed when I saw it! I really love the designs of this stamping company!

Now to the award – I got this award from Andrea! Thank you so much Andrea for thinking about me and giving it to me!

Warm Thoughts...

I always wanted to try making a spring card. And today I finally made it! When I took the stamp set Critter County from Artful INKables, I got an idea in my head. And I made a card with a cute little raccoon who is sticking his nose in some flowers and looking at pretty butterfly. Maybe he wants this butterfly to be his friend, so they can run around the field, smell the flowers and enjoy all of the beautiful nature!  I don’t know for sure what he is thinking about… but I can tell you that he has some Warm Thoughts to you!

Without Dawn’s tutorial I would never make this card! I love her tutorials!!! She explains everything so easy and it is always fun watching her! Thank you Dawn for sharing all your wonderful tutorials and ideas!

Before I finish my post I want to thank you Vera for giving me several awards. Thank yo uso much! That is so thoughful and kind! Believe or not, but I really have a hard time on giving these awards. Maybe some of you already have them and I don’t know it… And I think that you all deserve this award! So if you don’t have this award, I will be happy to give it to you! Just let me know!

Для изготовления этой простой  открытки с цветочками я использовала открыточный картон, дизайнерскую бумагу, чернила для штампинга, набор штампов от компании Artful INKables, цветные карандаши, дырокол-цветочек, дырокол фирмы Фискарс бабочка, стразы, “брадс”. Видео мастер-класс для изготовления открытки я нашла здесь. 

А еще я сегодня получила замечательные награды от Верочки! Верочка творит удивительно нежные и красивые открытки! А еще у нее на блоге можно найти очень много полезной и ценной информации по нашему хобби! Спасибо большое за награду! Честно сказать, мне очень приятно!

Передавать награды мне очень приятно, как и получать. Я считаю, что все рукодельницы, кто находит время для творчества заслуживают их. Поэтому я опять хочу подарить эту награду всем Вам! Я знаю, что у многих из вас уже есть эти награды, а если таких наград нет, то сообщите мне и я с большой радостью подарю Вам эти награды!

Happy Wednesday My Friends! I am so glad that you liked the carousel that I made. Thank you so much for your kind comments!  I should probably color the Unicorn from both sides; hope I will make another one much nicer!

Today I want to show you a very easy card. First, I wanted to watercolor this scene, but no luck here… So I used Prisma colored pencils and Gamsol, I can only work with them (even not perfect!) This scene was created using a stamp set Critter Country from Artful Inkables. Again I used masking technique here. Isn’t this little critter so cute!!!

I also wanted to thank you Rita and Enjoli for the award that they gave me! Thank you so much! I was very touched!

Tomorrow we will go to the doctor office. Sergei seems to be got something bad. The secretary called from school today and said that he has a fever. He also has a headache for 5 days… I thought that it wasn’t anything serious… But headache is not good for a little guy. Also want to tell you that Sergei (he is only eight years old) just started his blog!!! Looking at his mom he decided to join us in Blogland! The name of his blog is Jedi Sergei! He writes everything by himself, doing all of the computer stuff. Just amazing how kids can learn something new so fast!!! I am sure he will be very happy to see you at his blog, when you will have a time of course!

Вот такая простая открытка получилась у меня сегодня. Для изготовления я использовала штампики Critter Country и любимые карандаши. Цветочки сделаны с помощью дырокола. Опять я добавила машинную строчку. Вот в общем-то и все об открытке.

Недавно я получила очередную награду – Fabulous Blog! Очень благодарна за нее! 

А еще мой 8-летний Сережка тоже создал себе блог Jedi Sergei, правда на английском. Но что удивительно, что пишет, фотографии вставляет – все сам! Сам и фотографирует! В общем пошел по стопам мамы.
