Fall Charlotte

Good Evening My Friends! I know it is kind strange to post at the end of the day, or maybe it is not when you want to share your latest creation and participate in several challenges in time. 🙂

When I saw Mercy’s Sketch for this week I thought of Fall Charlotte  (from Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps) right away. And lucky me Mercy combined her challenge at SCRS blog and MTSC this time. Sounds like a good plan! 🙂

Since I decided to go with the square shape of the card (I only rounded one corner for some interest) why not to join all the fun Crazy4Challenges blog.

That is all for now. Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving me your comments! Wishing you all wonderful weekend! And of course… Happy Crafting Everybody,

Elena

Fall Charlotte

Fall Charlotte

Circles and Squares

Hello My Friends and thank you for stopping by today! I made two cards over the weekend. Wow, big progress for me with my turtle speed on making them.

I didn’t play Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge for a very long time, and here is a card for this week. I called it Bugs in a Row (once again I inked up Our Craft Lounge Stamp). Pretty easy, nothing fancy, but very cute I think.

Bugs in a Row

My second card is for Splitcoaststampers Sketch Challenge (SC238). I am in love with this challenge and always looking forward for each Wednesday (time when it starts). This card I called Boots in a Row (I inked up another one Our Craft Lounge stamp). These rain boots remind me my childhood time. Each kid likes to measure how deep the puddles are, and come back home after that all wet and happy. I think my Mom wasn’t very happy about my exploring. 😉

I hope you liked today’s projects. Thank you so much for your wonderful comments. I love reading them, they mean a lot to me.

Have a great day everybody,

Elena

Farm Fresh Friday Challenge

FFF Friday _3Hello! I am so glad to see you are visiting me today! You know that Friday is for Farm Fresh Friday at my blog. This week it is called “Fluttery Floral” –  make a card (project) with flowers and butterfly; very beautiful challenge and very special one too. And you know why? Because it is a preview of the new stamp set “Miss Anya Dressy” for coming release that will be available on the 1st of August. I fall in love in this stamp as soon as I saw it! And you probably can tell that it is true because I made two cards with the same girl.

The first one is for the FFF Challenge – Basic Grey paper was perfect here. I just added some punched flowers and cut another butterfly for dimension. Does it look like Anya is sitting on the bench? At least I tries to look her like she is.

Mojo MondaySecond card was made just for fun and was inspired by Mojo Monday sketch. Once again I used Basic Grey DP and lots of “bling”. I had a real good time coloring Anya; imagined myself a fashion designer creating a new collection of clothes, not in real world, but why not in paper world?

Be sure stop at The Greeting Farm blog Club Anya blog for more sneak peeks and more!

For now I will thank you for stopping by and leaving your very appreciated comments,

Elena

Blog Hop with Artful INKables

Hello and welcome to the Flashback blog hop with Arftul INKables. If you just joined me, please stop at Kristin’s blog, this way you will not miss all of the wonderful projects that our Ink Girls prepared for you. If you came from amazing blog by Dawn, you are on the right track.

This is the last blog hop for me as being part of the DT with Arftul INKables. Six months went so fast and it was a big honor for me and great pleasure to be an INK Girl. I met so many talented ladies and learned lots of new stuff about stamping and crafting. I would like to thank all of the DT girls for letting me be with them, and Kristin for trusting and giving me a chance to work and create with her beautiful designs.

The stamp set I chose for the blog hop was Darling Dragons. You know that I like cute critters, that was a perfect choice for me! I started with the Birthday card, they seem to be the most popular. The layout for the card was inspired by Sketch For You To Try by Jen Del Muro.

Happy Birhday

Second card is a Get Well kind of a card. It is always nice to send it to somebody who needs extra love and attention during the rough time and health problems. This time I followed Mojo Monday Sketch#94. For the sentiment I used a stamp from Basic Sentiments set.

Feel Better Soon

And to the last project  – a tea bag holder. This adorable dragon sends you some warm thoughts, and wants you to enjoy his company with a tasty tea. You can find a great tutorial on how to make this holder at Splitcoaststampers.

Now it is time to hop to Cathy’s blog for more fun creations! Thank you so much for hopping with us today, hope you liked it!

3-D Projects with Artful INKables

Hello to Everybody! Today I have  two projects to show you. Earlier in my posts I mentioned about using Twilight related stamps (Into the Moonlight and Fictionally Inspired) from Artful INKables in different ways. Here is what I came up with.

Dazzled

For the first project I decided to decorate a chocolate bar and make a pull treat holder. You can find an excellent explanation and idea of how to make it at Splitcoaststampers forum. It is pretty easy to do, and you can give a sweet treat to somebody that you love in a unique and fun package.

Dazzled_2

The second project is a gift box. I would like to thank Kelly for sharing the template and inspiration for the box. Her blog is so beautiful, and all her art work is amazing! I thought why not to use this chess image and put a different sentiment on the label (I masked the original saying on the stamp  using masking tape, then removed the tape, and stamped the image; after that I stamped a word For You inside the label) . I think that this can be a great gift for a man or any person who likes to play chess.

For You

I hope that you liked it. Thank you so much for stopping by today and leaving your very appreciated comments!

Have a fantastic day,

Elena

For You-2

Can Nature Play Music?

Music in a shell

Music in a shell

Hello and thank you for stopping by today! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend and enjoy the holiday time!

Today I have a card to show you. Maybe it’s not a masterpiece and will never be published in a magazine, but for me it was a card that gave me wonderful thoughts and memories. And here they are…

Have you ever thought about nature in a different way? Yes, our nature can create music around us that changes each season and has a different sound.

Lets start with the fall. Leaves – falling leaves create a charming melody when you walk on them. And not only this, leaves by themselves are great dancers too – they dance a waltz when they are falling from the trees in their beautiful colored dresses! Then what season comes next?

Winter – and here is music of snow; I always liked it when I was kid especially on the way to school to play a fun melody by stepping on the crust of snow. Oh! How about another one – sound of wind during the snowstorms, like blowing a whistle I think.

Moving on to spring – melting icicles make an adorable sound like somebody playing a xylophone. Of course I am not even counting the birds that are the best singers!

Now summer – rain. I don’t like it so much, but the melody of it is not so bad. Even thunderstorms are like heavy metal music. But for some of us summer is vacation time next to the sea or ocean where the melody comes from the waves and… big shells. I never believed that a shell has the music of the sea (ocean). But when I put it close to my ear I hear it, very quiet and calm.

I would like to thank you my friend Anna for sending me this stamped image (ATC stamp). This little boy listening to his shell brought me some memories from my childhood and my heart was filled with a beautiful melody…

Enough with lyrics… This card was created for the MOJO Monday Sketch Challenge. Sorry I am late to participate, but made it anyway. Thank you Julee for the inspiration!

Thank you so much for stopping by today and listening to my crazy music ramblings.

Supplies: DCWV cardstock and DP, dew drops, stamped image from my friend, Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol, ribbon, distress ink (Old Paper), Music in My Heart stamp set (for the sentiment) from Artful INKables, Nestabilities, blue chalk ink for sponging

FFF Card

FFF Card

Hello! Before I will start talking about today’s card I would like to thank you all for the fantastic blog hop on Wednesday. Without you it would not be so much fun and I hope that enjoyed it as much as I did! Thank you!!!

Since it’s Friday it means it’s time for Farm Fresh Friday Challenge. This week we have a sketch for you to try by the very talented Jessica. Thank you Jessica for the inspiration! You all probably recognized the main character of the card – Hope from The Greeting Farm. This is one of my most favorite stamps even though they are all my favorites. Would you like to play with us this week – please, stop at The Greeting Farm blog for more inspiration, then create your card and upload it to the gallery!

Did you notice the colors of the card are red, white and blue? These are the colors for the 3 Clovers Thursday Challenge at Kerry’s blog. I will open you a secret, Kerry’s inspiration DT helped me a lot with creating this card. Thank you to everybody!

And thank you to all of you my dear readers and visitors. I always appreciate your time and comments,

Twilight Tuesday Challenge

twilight-tuesadyHappy Tuesday everybody! Today I would like to show two cards that were made for the Twilight Tuesday Challenge. This week it is sponsored by the Artful INKables and I am very excited to participate in it. The name of the challenge is Inspiration Challenge – What Says Twilight to you? “Many people often say that reading the Twilight saga has been life-changing. Please share how the saga has changed your own life or made you view life in a different way”.

As you can see I chose Bella’s quote from the last book:” Why am I covered in feathers”? I thought that was kind of a cute question. But this question brings us to the main idea of the last book. Bella and Renesmee, Mother and Daughter… First when I was reading the book, I didn’t understand Bella why she decided to have this baby (I was thinking of this Edward’s point of view). But then I changed my opinion. How would I behave being a woman and waiting for a child from a man that I love? I probably will do the same, that’s what you call maternal instinct. Sorry for some very deep philosophycal thoughts, but that is what I feel.

Almost forgot to tell the MOJO Monday Sketch inspired the layout of the first card.

vampire-baseball1My second card tells everything by itself. Vampire’s Baseball… That is one of my favorite action scenes (really liked how Alice was pitching); I liked it even more after watching a movie. That was a beautiful game; even though I am not a big fan of a sport. First I couldn’t get why did they play it only during the thunderstorm, but then… there is no way with all of their speeds and special abilities.

That was my first try with a Twilight Tuesday Challenge, and I hope you liked what I did.  For both of the card I used new stamps from Artful INKables Into The Moonlight and Fictionally Inspired. If you would like to participate in this challenge, please stop at the Twilight Tuesday blog and join us!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! And thank you for your comments!

Farm Fresh Friday and more…

FFF Challenge

FFF Challenge

Hello and Happy Saturday!

Today I have two cards to show. The first one is for the Farm Fresh Friday Challenge at The Greeting Farm – this week it is called 3 stamps. You need to create a card using at least 3 TGF stamps. It could be from different sets or the same set. Marie will have a challenge each Friday now, and I am looking forward for them. As you can see I used three different sets (Pretty Hat, Dress Me, Wardrobe #2 – Summer). The DP (gift from my friend) “whispered to me” what kind of dress to choose for Anya. Then I decided to ink up her purse… and why not to put a little puppy inside. One, two, three stamp sets and card was ready. Would you like to participate in this challenge also, please stop at The Greeting Farm blog for more details and join us this week!

3Clovers Thursday Challenge

3Clovers Thursday Challenge

My next card is very special to me. Can you see that it is one layer card! Hooray, victory, I made it! I would like to thank you Ida and Kerry who encouraged me and believed in me. And of course, thank to all of you my dear readers and visitors. Making this card I understood – never gave up, continue try until you would achieve what you wanted. One more word was like a magic for me too – practice. It worked! Of course not only magic, but beautiful stamps sets from Artful INKables (Into the Moonlight, Fictionally Inspired) made feel much better about myself. And now I can play No Layer Challenge too!

Today we will spend all day at the Baseball field, Sergei has a tournamet. Yesterday his team won with the score 21:5. Pretty good! Hope they will be lucky today too!

Thank you for stopping by today and spending some time with me! You know how much I appreciate all you words! and one more thing – You are the Best!
