Sweet Cupcake and Cups

Hello My Friends! Thank you so much for your very kind comments about my last project. You can’t even imagine how much it means to me…

Today I have a card that was inspired once again by sweet Cupcake Inspiration Challenge. Wish all of the treats would be as good for you as Rachel’s – they are all sugar free, no fat at all and they help you creativity! What inspired me this time? Lots of circles! That is why I chose a patterned paper with colorful circles different sizes (DP from American Crafts). And of course, how cupcake can be without a cup of tea or coffee? That is why I chose a stamp set from Our Craft Lounge Fueled By Caffeine with cute little cups in a row.

For the layout of the card I followed a sketch from Splitcoaststampers by Roxie. So glad that I had a chance to play with it!

That is all for today. Thank you so much for stopping by! I appreciate your time that you spent with me today! Your comments always bring sunshine in my life!  🙂

Happy crafting,

Elena

P.S. Did you know that Amy Young jut released her very own stamping line at ATS? I always admire her talent and her beautiful designs! Amy also has a great give away at her blog – would like to join it? Please, stop at her blog and share these wonderful news with her!

Non-traditional Halloween Card

Hello and thank you for stopping by today! I wanted to share a card with you and a mini treat holder in a shape of a hat. Let’s start with the card that was inspired by tree different challenges.

The first one is Sweet Cupcake Inspiration on Rachel’s blog. Cute little witches whispered to me who will be a character of my card (Emma Witch from C.C. Designs – gift from friend). But I didn’t know how to coordinate witch and colors of the cupcake… Usually when we create a Halloween themed card we chose traditional for this season colors (green, purple, orange, black). I think these colors are so much fun, but about  trying something different? Why not choose fall colors – warm and cozy. Thank you to Rachel for giving me an opportunity trying something new!

Tall Card Witch

Now to the second challenge – it’s Three Clovers Thursday Challenge. And lucky me that this week Kerry and her DT have a wonderful sketch to play with. It was a great help for me, and since I missed so many challenges from Kerry it was a chance to catch up on some of them.  Thank you Kerry and all your DT ladies!

Hat Open

And the third challenge is a brand new at ATS Wednesday Challenge blog. For this week you need create a Tall Card. How tall did I go – 7 inches! I wonder if I can go taller… maybe I will try one more card and if it will look good I will share it with you. Thank you to Christine and her DT for chance to participate in their challenges.

And of course I am very excited to tell you about this Witch Hat Treat Holder (you can find tutorial here). The idea of this amazing craft belongs to a very talented lady (Kuku is her name on YouTube) whose tutorial I always watch on YouTube! Wow! She has lots of brilliant ideas! I didn’t have any special tools, so I used a pair of compass, scissors, and Tombow glue. Maybe that is why my hat doesn’t look as pretty…

I hope that you are not tired of the very long post. Thank you so much for reading it and leaving your kind comments! That is all for now, I will be back soon.

Happy crafting,

Elena

Three Challenges in One Card

Hello and Happy Monday! Hope you all had a great weekend. We didn’t do anything special… The weather was not very nice, and we decide just spend some time at home. And of course I played with my stamps, and here is the result. Can you tell I love Holiday Cruiser stamp set form Our Craft Lounge? This adorable Witch sure likes fast rides. Look, her hat even blew off! What can I tell, I feel like a kid by creating different scenes.

This time I was inspired by three challenges! The first one is my favorite Mercy’s Tuesday Sketch Challenge (MTSC41). Sketches always help me in creating layout, that is why I always appreciate talent of other crafters who shares it with us.

As you may notice I am addicted to sweets – Rachel’s Cupcake Inspiration Challenge. This week she has a yummy picture of Halloween cupcakes by Crafty Confections. Let’s see what inspired me – colors, pumpkins, and stars.

And the third challenge is at the Crazy4Challenges blog. This week it’s called Sew Happy and hosted by amazing Vicki. If you will have a closer look you can see a zigzag stitch I added.

That is all for today… Thank you so much for stopping by today and spending some time with me! I will be back with another card very soon!

Enjoy your day and happy stamping,

Elena

Zooming By…

Zooming ByHello My Friends! So glad you stopped by today! This weekend Sergei (my son) started to work on his letter to Santa. Usually we go to the local post office where during the winter holidays there is Santa’s mail box.  So far so good Santa tries to keep his promise and brings mostly all of the gifts that on the wish list (with a help of the parents of course).

Looking at Sergei I decided to make  a Christmas card (it’s always good to have Christmas cards in advance). This card  was also inspired by Mercy’s Tuesday sketch. Thank you Mercy!

The stamp set I used is from Our Craft Lounge Company (gift from my friend). I love this set because it has so many images in it for different holidays (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas). This adorable Santа is on his Holiday Cruise. I am sure he likes to ride his reindeer but I think sometimes he gives them a break and using his car. It is not an easy job to go around the world and leave gifts for all nice kids! I wonder if this year Santa will bring something for me… But we will see! 😉

Thank you so much for looking at my card. Hope you liked it! Thank you for leaving me your kind comments ! It  means a lot to me.

Enjoy your day today and happy crafting!

One More Sneak Peek

Hoppy HolidaysHello My Friends! As I promised yesterday here is one more sneak peek from Our Craft Lounge. Oh, I am so happy to share this card with you. The stamp set I am showing called Hoppy Holidays. It has the cutest frogs that can sing you a song, give you a present or ride a sleigh! Can you tell how much fun this Froggy is having? I can even hear a joyful sound: ”Yuppie!”

To create a layout for this card I followed a Weekend Sketch from several weeks ago. I added some glitter to the snow, just wanted to add some Christmas magic dust. The image was colored with my handy-dandy Prismacolor pencils and OMS.

We have more sneak peeks for you to show. Please stop at Our Craft Lounge blog (there will be a list of all talented crafters who participated in this fun event), you will not be disappointed! Tomorrow we will have a Blog Hop and lots of giveaways!

Thank you so much for sharing some time with me today! Have a beautiful day everybody,

Elena

Sneak Peek For Our Craft Lounge

Sneak Peek 1Hello My Friends! Several weeks ago I got an e-mail form Kendra where she asked me if I would like to participate in the sneak peeks and blog hop for one of my favorite stamping company Our Craft Lounge. Of course I couldn’t believe it at first… and I was very excited and honored at the same time to join a group of very talented stampers for this fun event!   There will be 31 brand new stamps released this week at their retail and on-line stores.

Here is my sneak-peek for the very cute stamp set called Purr-fect Wishes. Since we have a kitty it was a perfect choice for me. I also loved the name of it – reminds me our cat Ginger Bell who likes to purr when you pet her. I colored this kitty with Prismacolor pencils and OMS. Splitcoaststampers Sketch Challenge (SC239) inspired the layout of the card.  The papers are from Heidi Grace (Fiskars).

Would you like to see all ten sets of “sneak-peeks” today? Just stop at Our Craft Lounge blog and get your creative juices flowing!

Tomorrow I will have another peek and on Thursday we will have a blog hop with lots of give aways!

Thank for stopping by today! I will see you tomorrow!

Circles and Squares

Hello My Friends and thank you for stopping by today! I made two cards over the weekend. Wow, big progress for me with my turtle speed on making them.

I didn’t play Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge for a very long time, and here is a card for this week. I called it Bugs in a Row (once again I inked up Our Craft Lounge Stamp). Pretty easy, nothing fancy, but very cute I think.

Bugs in a Row

My second card is for Splitcoaststampers Sketch Challenge (SC238). I am in love with this challenge and always looking forward for each Wednesday (time when it starts). This card I called Boots in a Row (I inked up another one Our Craft Lounge stamp). These rain boots remind me my childhood time. Each kid likes to measure how deep the puddles are, and come back home after that all wet and happy. I think my Mom wasn’t very happy about my exploring. 😉

Boots in a Row

I hope you liked today’s projects. Thank you so much for your wonderful comments. I love reading them, they mean a lot to me.

Have a great day everybody,

Elena

Supplies: cardstock SU and Gina K. Designs, Our Craft Lounge stamps, Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol, MU markers, dew drops, Nestabilities, Fiskars scissors, DCWV DP, Bo Bunny DP, Critter Country stamp set from Artful INKables

Just buzzin’ by to say…

3 CTCHello My Friends! I am so glad you stopped by today. Today’s card is for the 3 Clovers Thursday Challenge. This week it is all about BLING – sparkles, gems, everything that shines! Can you see sparkles on the cute little bug wings? I used some glitter here; and then I decided to add some gems too. A sweet stamp is from Our Craft Lounge; really love the sentiment “Just buzzin’ by to say…”  Inside the card it says:”Thankzzz!”

For the layout of the card I chose very pretty sketch by Amy; I told you I will be inspired by her creativity again. Thank you, Amy!

Why don’t you join us for this fun challenge  at Kerry’s blog and “bling up” your card! Be sure to stop at 3 Clovers Designs for more beautiful and shiny ideas!

Thank you for stopping by and sharing some time with me! Hope everything is going well with all of you,

Elena

P.S. Little announcement – tomorrow I will have a card for Farm Fresh Friday challenge and something else… 😉

Something new for me…

FLowersHello and thank you for stopping by today! Hope everything is going well with all of you!

I wanted to play with Fresh Batch Sketch Challenge this week and here is what I came up with. Can you tell I tried something new for myself ? Pleated paper!  It is one of the techniques that I like to see on other cards made by other crafters. The other reason for making these folds is a stamp I used (stamp set from Our Craft Lounge) – these cute little flowerpots are thimbles, thimbles that we often use in sewing. Pleats, thimbles, ribbons – all sewing related… And when I looked at this card after I finished it I thought that it looks like the flowers are standing on the window sill with a curtain under it as a decoration. What do you think?

Thank you to Mercy and all DT for the inspiration, without this challenge I maybe would never try to make this card.

KukuruzkaBefore I would say the last word I wanted to share a very pretty card that I got yesterday from a very wonderful person Irina (i-m-kukuruzka). We almost lost hope that I would find her card in my mail box, but it made through the ocean! Thank you so much Irina!!! I was very glad to receive it!!!

Thank you for stopping by today and sharing some time with me!

Enjoy your day today!

Elena
