Inky Paws Challenge

Hello!

It is Friday already and it means it is time for Inky Paws Challenge at Newton’s Nook Designs blog.

This month it’s a color challenge, using a Spring Bouquet as inspiration. Looking for the colors – Pale Pink – Yellow – Lilac – Soft Green. Just lovely! 🙂

I chose to play with couple of stamps which are Versatile Vases (solid flowers), Love Grows (hearts) and Sweetheart Tails (xoxo). The design of the card is simple, I really wanted to show what you can do with the different stamps by putting them in one card.

Sharing with you NND proejcts

Hello and Happy Monday everybody!

Today I would like to share with you three cards that I made for Newton’s Nook Designs blog.

Let me tell you, I really-really liked to work with NND stamps. Great quality, awesome designs and wonderful atmosphere in the DT. Thank you Jennifer. 🙂

First Card

This first card is pretty simple in design. Even though I used three stamp sets to create it: Love Grows, Versatile Vases, and Wild Child sets. I love how it turned out.

Second Card

Second card can be great for both Mother’s Day or Fathers Day. I created a little scene using patterned paper and cute bears from Wild Child stamp set.

Third Card

Last card… Soft colors, not too many papers, several embellishments and sweet owl from Sweetheart Tails.

Newton’s Nook Designs April Release – Day 3

Hello Everybody!

It is a final day of the release at Newton’s Nook Designs blog.

We think you all will love this cute stamp set. Wild Child is the name of it. I absolutely love all the cutest animals here.

I chose to create a card for baby because of these Mama and Baby Giraffe. I simply stamped the image and added stamped grass border. The design of the stamp is so neat and detailed, Jennifer is an amazing artist.

It is Day 2 at Newton’s Nook Design Release for month of April. We are introducing to you a beautiful set Versatile Vases.

As you can see I went with cute flower pot and some pretty flowers. This stamp set is so versatile as you may create a card for any occasion. I chose friendship theme. 🙂

Newton’s Nook Designs April Release – Day 1

Good Morning my Friends!

This week is the release week at Newton’s Nook Designs for the month of April.

And today we are presenting to you a beautiful stamp set Love Grows.

I like how Jennifer named this set. It speaks for itself. More love you spread around, more love you see around. And you can relate it to the flowers and to us people too. What is one of the best ways to show that you appreciate someone special in your life? Send a card, show your love. 🙂

I created a Happy Mother’s Day card. I thought – why not to paper piece these pretty roses. A little bit of dimension, twine, some embossing and card was ready!

You are foxy…

Hello!

Another snowy day in OH. It was already 6th day this year when school was cancelled. We had 6 inches of snow covered with ice. Very heavy snow… I got up at 3 a.m. and started shoveling right away. Finished at 5 a.m. Took me 2 hours to clean walk way and drive way. Excellent workout! I need these exercise.

And of course not only I am here to whine about the snow, I have a card to show. 🙂

The stamp set is from Newton’s Nook Designs. And a sketch is from Jen’s blog – Deconstructed Sketch. I admire Jen’s work.

А у нас опять отменили школу (у моего ребенка). Выпало много снега, а сверху приморосило дождичком. В общем всю эту прелесть я расчищала 2 часа. Отличная зарядка! Мне упражнения не помешают.

Конечно, я сегодня не только пожалуюсь на долгую и такую вредную Зимушку… У меня открытка.

Newton’s Nook Challenge

Valentine’s Day inspired me for another card. I used Newton’s Nook stamp Sweetheart Tails from the new release.

I picked these papers, so I can participate in the NND challenge. It is a color challenge.

You may see a little heart on the card – I crochet it, and thought it would be a good fit for this card. 🙂

Здравствуйте!

Приближающийся День Святого Валентина вдохновил меня на эту открытку.

Штампик от компании Newton’s Nook Designs. Увидев очередное задание на блоге этой компании – придумать открытку с заданными цветами – решила попробовать что-нибудь сделать. Подобрала бумагу, связала сердечко, добавила пуговку и – готово!

Для дизайна открытки использовала скетч MOJO Monday.

Pre-historic Christmas

Hello!

Have you ever thought about Christmas during Dinosaur time, a pre-historic type of Christmas? I asked myself this question and after I looked at Prehistoric Pals stamp set from Newton’s Nook Designs an answer jumped into my head right away.

Here is the picture how it could look back than. A dinosaur of course had a Santa hat. Instead of Christmas tree they used Palm tree which was decorated with the bow. Of course I don’t think they had Christmas lights in pre-historic time, but I gave it to this Dinosaur anyway. What a tree without lights?

This card was made following Newton’s Nook Designs Challenge sketch. Did you know that Jen (the owner of the company) has some freebies on her site. So, even if you don’t have stamps yet from this company you can still play, you still have time. There will be a prize also to the lucky participant. 🙂 I thought why not to try? Why don’t you try too?

Задала себе вопрос на днях – интересно, а как отмечали Рождество во времена динозавров? Ответ возник сразу, когда на глаза попался штамп от компании Newton’s Nook Designs.

В общем в те времена все возможно выглядело именно так, как на моей открытке. У динозавра, конечно же, была шапочка Санты. Елочку заменяла пальма, которую украшали бантиком. Лампочек на пальме я думаю в то время не было, но этому динозавру, я все-таки вручила маленькую лампочку в руки. Ну какая елка-пальма без огоньков.

А если говорить серьезно, то отркытка придумалась по скетчу от блога Newton’s Nook Designs.
