Hello Everyone!

It is Day 2 at Newton’s Nook Design Release for month of April. We are introducing to you a beautiful set Versatile Vases.

With this stamp set you can create any flower bouquet you would like. Flower pots, vases – everything is ready for your imagination.

As you can see I went with cute flower pot and some pretty flowers. This stamp set is so versatile as you may create a card for any occasion. I chose friendship theme. 🙂

Newton’s Nook Designs April Release – Day 1

Good Morning my Friends!

This week is the release week at Newton’s Nook Designs for the month of April.

And today we are presenting to you a beautiful stamp set Love Grows.

I like how Jennifer named this set. It speaks for itself. More love you spread around, more love you see around. And you can relate it to the flowers and to us people too. What is one of the best ways to show that you appreciate someone special in your life? Send a card, show your love. 🙂

Happy Mother’s Day

I created a Happy Mother’s Day card. I thought – why not to paper piece these pretty roses. A little bit of dimension, twine, some embossing and card was ready!

Panda for a Friend

Hello to my amazing and most supportive friends!

I appreciate all your comments and your understanding. I am sorry that I had that emotional moment. Well, it is all better now. 🙂

Thank you so much for being next to me and I am so glad that there are so many wonderful people in this world.

I was working on one project lately (crochet toy). I will show it later this week. Today I have a card with cute-cute panda from Mama Elephant company. Did you see their images? They are so cool! My friend Anna shared with me some of their stamps. Thank you, Anna! 🙂

I sent this card to one of my friends in WI for her birthday.

Layout for the card is the Deconstructed Sketch. I like Jen’s sketches! They are awesome.

As you can see there is a mixture of papers on this card, but it still looks pretty simple.

It was so good to play with my stamps and papers. 🙂

Я тут недавно завершила работу над очередной вязаной игрушкой. На этой неделе покажу вам.

А пока просто открытка. Мне так нравится эта пандочка от компании Mama Elephant. Несколько распечаток таких шатмпиков мне подарила моя подруга Аня. Спасибочки! 🙂

Скетч для открытки нашла на блоге Deconstructing Jen. Обожаю этот блог, просто палочка-выручалочка.

Как вы заметили, здесь я использовала разные бумажки, но открытка получилась все-таки довольно простая. К чему я и стремилась.

Соскучилась я по своим бумажечкам и штампикам. По этому время прошло хорошо в компании этой пандочки! 😉

Birthday Fishes

Hello!

Yesterday was my husband’s birthday. He asked me if I could sew for him a flannel bathrobe. This was his birthday wish. Of course I said “yes, I will make it for you”.

I am not a very good seamstress, hope my husband liked what I sewed for him.

And what a birthday without a card. The stamp is from Mama Elephant company.

You are foxy…

Hello!

Another snowy day in OH. It was already 6th day this year when school was cancelled. We had 6 inches of snow covered with ice. Very heavy snow… I got up at 3 a.m. and started shoveling right away. Finished at 5 a.m. Took me 2 hours to clean walk way and drive way. Excellent workout! I need these exercise.

And of course not only I am here to whine about the snow, I have a card to show. 🙂

The stamp set is from Newton’s Nook Designs. And a sketch is from Jen’s blog – Deconstructed Sketch. I admire Jen’s work.

А у нас опять отменили школу (у моего ребенка). Выпало много снега, а сверху приморосило дождичком. В общем всю эту прелесть я расчищала 2 часа. Отличная зарядка! Мне упражнения не помешают.

Конечно, я сегодня не только пожалуюсь на долгую и такую вредную Зимушку… У меня открытка.

Newton’s Nook Challenge

Valentine’s Day inspired me for another card. I used Newton’s Nook stamp Sweetheart Tails from the new release.

I picked these papers, so I can participate in the NND challenge. It is a color challenge.

You may see a little heart on the card – I crochet it, and thought it would be a good fit for this card. 🙂

Приближающийся День Святого Валентина вдохновил меня на эту открытку.

Штампик от компании Newton’s Nook Designs. Увидев очередное задание на блоге этой компании – придумать открытку с заданными цветами – решила попробовать что-нибудь сделать. Подобрала бумагу, связала сердечко, добавила пуговку и – готово!

Для дизайна открытки использовала скетч MOJO Monday.
