Cup Of Tea…

I love...

I love...

Happy Saturday My Friends!

Thank you so much for your warm wishes to Sergei! The doctor called today, and told us that  he has strep throat, but it is mild. Now Sergei is on antibiotic pills treatment. Hope this will help…

I want to apologize that I was such a big Drama Mama… I just realized that there are so many kids who are in worse health situation… I didn’t want to do such a big deal out of this; I didn’t want to complain either. Maybe it happened with me because I don’t have family here and I start to panic…

For today’s card I was inspired by Jami.  I liked her sketch for the Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge Anniversary! Thank you Jami for your great sketch!

As yesterday’s card this card is made using the same stamp set Wonderland from The Greeting Farm. I have several Copics (my friend’s gift), so I decided to challenge myself on using them. When I almost finished the card a cute idea was born in my head – how about little heart brads in the center of the stamped hearts!

I wanted to tell why I used sentiment I Love in this card. How many times do we say this word? And each time it sounds different and has different meaning. I love your card! I love this song! I love bird’s singing in the morning! I love My Family!… And many-many more I love… For this card I chose a meaning “I love My friends, love time spent with them, love chating with each other with a cup of a tea!” As I told before in Russia it is a big tradition to drink tea!

Hope your weekend is going well and you all enjoy your time!

Thank you for stopping by and I always appreciate your kind comments!

Hugs,

Elena

Supplies: cardstock from DCWV, DP from K&Company, Versa fine black ink, clear embossing powder, Copic markers, Wonderland stamp set from The Greeting Farm, sentiment from the Inque Boutique , heart brads, ribbons, CB embossing folder, Nestabilities

Now onto your sweet card! It’s nice to see what you can do with the different stamps in a set! Pretty papers too!
Take Care and keep us updated as to how Sergei is!
    Blessings, Maria

  4. I love this card as the kettle is always on here. I am known as a “tea pot” as I love my tea. Sergei should soon be on the mend and feeling more like himself, and mums always worry

  7. Super job on this sketch love it.

  8. Another adorable card using one of the single images from Wonderland..how cool! I am so happy to hear that your son is doing better. it can be so sad when they are sick. Hugs!

  9. Wow! I love the DP you use on your cards! and their colors too! This card is so warm and inviting! I really like your image! Don’t ever apologize for being concerned for Sergei. Children’s illnesses can become very serious. My SIL is a doctor and always takes a culture of children’s throats and needs parents to watch and be concerned. Little illnesses can turn into big ones without concerned parents. His blog is wonderful and imagine my surprise and wonder when he thanked me and commented on my card! Hugs to him for me.

  10. Great card Elena, love the papers. I hope the antibiotics work quickly and Sergei will soon be feeling better.

  17. I am so glad to know that Sergei is on his way to a speedy recovery Elena. I think most of us moms react the same way. I complain about my kids making noise, but I fret when they are sick because the house is too quiet. Get well soon Sergei and comments from other bloggers has a way of making anyone feel better!
I love your card Elena and that layout is unique and very pretty. Thank you for sharing!
