Hug A Snowman!

Today I want to show you a Christmas card that I made. When I first saw the Hug A Snowman stamp set on Kelli’s blog I sent an email to my husband’s work to tell all about my excitement and how much I liked this cute snowman. He told me if I like him that much, he would buy it for me! I love you, Ken!!! That’s wonderful when you have a husband who can understand your craziness about stamps and crafting! We ordered this stamp set and another one (Karate Kid) from Kelli’s Etsy shop Lilac City Designs. Kelli was so nice to put a little gift inside. She is very talented designer. I don’t remember how I found her blog but I was very glad I did.

I stamped the Snowman on water colored paper and then colored it with water colored pencils (my friend sent them to me). I added some glitter and liquid appliqué to give some interest and sparkle. Then I matted it on designer paper from DCWV Once Upon A time. Then I made a scalloped frame using a round-corner punch. For the background I chose some papers that I bought at Jo-Ann’s a long time ago. Added satin ribbon and punched snowflakes.

I think this couple is very cute!!!
