Snail Birthday Card

Snail Birthday CardHello! Hope you all had a wonderful Sunday! As for me I was a little bit busy this morning making a birthday card.

I chose a snail because I totally forgot about this birthday, since snail is slow and this card would be late on the date. So it would be all snails’ fault!

I used two stamps to create an image. First I stamped the gift, and then I masked it and stamped the snail. I mounted this design on the felt that I die-cut.

Snail Card Close UpI added some diagonal stripes on the background paper to give some interest. To give a finishing touch I thought – how about some buttons from felt!

It will be unexpected card that is why I can post it now.

That’s all for today!

Happy stamping,

Elena

Supplies: White cardstock, designer paper from local craft store, Versa Fine black ink, Prisma colored pencils, OMS, Sizzix die-cut “Buttons”, Nestabilities,  felt, clear  stamps from g-studio, rubber stamp Enchanted Fairies.
