Waterfall Card

Hello again! Today I want to show you a card that I made for my friend’s daughter.

Waterfall Card FrontShe will be 8 in June. I decided to make a waterfall card, so that she can play with it after her birthday. I choose an elf from the Enchanted Fairies stamping set as the main character for the card. He has wings, so when she will pull the card it looks like the elf’s’ wings are moving. I found a nice video- tutorial from the blog of the very talented Kim Burmeister. I love her blog and her tutorials are wonderful. They are very easy to follow and very helpful. I made several cards using her tutorials. I’d like to take this chance right now to thank Kim for her beautiful cards and excellent tutorials.

I used designer paper for the background. It took me a while to find it. I wanted something thatInside Waterfall Card won’t be too pale and not too bright. I don’t know but I think those colors worked pretty well. I also decorated the card inside. So after I finish writing this I will go to the post office and send it to the little girl. It will be a long travel from USA to Siberia, Russia. So I will hope that she will get it in time and she will like it!

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

See you tomorrow,
RedHairedGirl

Supplies I used for the card:
Water colored paper, StazOn black ink, Marvy Uchida Brush Markers, Enchanted Fairies Stamp Set, Designer Paper, Colored cardstock, yellow and black dye-based ink for inside, stamps with words, eyelets.
