She lives right across the road of our house. Her name is Julie. She is an amazing girl. It is so easy to be around her. She will always listen to you and feel with you. She’s very open and sensitive. We have lots in common. Even our birthdays are close. Sometimes I think how lucky I am because all of the people I met are very generous, kind and very real.
Talking about birthdays. Yesterday was her birthday and I made for her some gifts. One of them is a mini maze book. I took an idea and all of the instructions from one of my favorite craft site TV Weekly. All of the pictures I used for this album are from Julie’s Garden. She likes flowers and gardening. She’s done a very nice job around her house. I think it was a big surprise for her.
And another gift is a little souvenir from Russia that I put in the box I made. I found a wonderful tutorial on the very creative and inspirational blog of a very talented Laurie Schmidlin. When I look at her cards I always want to try it too. I love her style and always enjoy looking at her work! Thank you Laurie for your talent and sharing your ideas.
The flower on a top of a box was made using a template Fold-It Swirls from Hot Off The Press. And of course what is a Birthday without a Birthday card. The card I made was inspired by Kristina Werner.
This card was posted on 1st of April 2007. She is always does such an excellent work. I like her style – simple and very elegant. The word simple in her cards has a different meaning. They look simple but they have so much creativity and style. The color, shape, different elements, everything is on a place where it’s need to be. I think that Kristine has a great talent and her blog is fabulous. I don’t know if Kristine will ever see my blog but I just wanted to tell that her cards Rock!
I hope that you have a wonderful day today. Thanks for reading and stopping by my blog!
I will be here tomorrow with my new post,
Elena
