Rosie With Cat
Hello and welcome to The La-La Land Wednesday Challenge. It’s my first time participating in this challenge as a Guest Designer. This week is hosted by very talented Kim, and she decided to do a color challenge. Pink is one of her favorite colors. So now you know what it the theme of the challenge – create a card with something PINK on it. It doesn’t need to be all pink. As long as mostly pink, it’s great!
As you can see I chose some papers (My Minds Eye) that have pink color. No surprise why I chose cute Rosie With Cat as the main character of the card. These little friends stole my heart from the first time I saw them in store. And I was very happy to get it in my DT package for this month! I had so much fun coloring this stamp! I also added some swirls that were made using CB die-cuts. I saw how Irina decorates her cards with these elements and decided to try it too. Thank you Irina ! 🙂
For the layout of the card I followed Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge. Since paper was double-sided, this sketch worked great for me! Isn’t it nice when you just flip the paper and don’t need to think about companion papers.
