Hello and Happy Saturday! Thank you so much for stopping by today! As I promised I have one card to show that I just finished. Several challenges helped me a lot, let me tell you which ones.
The first one is Mercy’s Tuesday Sketch Challenge. I couldn’t forgive myself for missing last week’s sketch; maybe I will play with it another time. Anyway so thankful to Mercy and her Muses for their fun creations!
When I first looked at Mercy’s Sketch I already knew who would be the main character of my card. Of course I picked adorable cow Maya who felt so lonely at the farm at that time. You know during the winter season we all feel sad sometimes… Of course she could of play with other animals who lived with her at the farm, but they were so afraid to go outside, they were so afraid of being cold. I forgot to tell you that only Maya had some nice and cozy winter clothes, which were her Christmas gifts from last year. So she tied a soft scarf around her neck, put her warm mittens and her bright boots and went to play in the snow. Maya was not an ordinary cow; she was a very smart cow! One day she saw how local kids were building snowman, it looked liked they had so much fun doing it. Suddenly Maya got in idea – how about building a Snowcow! After several hours of hard work she built herself a friend! From now on she knew that winter isn’t not boring, you just need to be creative and never give up!
Oh, looks like I made up another story… Sorry about this, now back to the topic…
Each morning on Saturday I check Crazy4Challenges blog that never disappoints me and always gives so many ideas! This time you need to take your punches and show what you can do with them. Sometimes I think what will we do without MS punches? Maybe this will inspire us for different innovative adventures in card making? But for now lets be spoiled by Martha Stewart craft supplies.
And last but not least is a challenge at Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps blog. This week is hosted by very talented Chrissy Armstrong who chose to add some texture to your card – Touchy Feely. I love not only to look at handmade cards, but also touch them. That is what makes them even more special. I took CB Swiss Dots embossing folder and run the main image through the die-cut machine. Does it look like falling snowflakes? I hope so…
Hope you all have a great holiday time. I just wanted to tell you a big Thank for leaving me your comments and reading my posts. You make my day and you are my main INSPIRATION!
That is all for now, see you on Wednesday,
Elena
