Hello my Friends! It is a beautiful day here in WI; I really enjoy it before the long winter! 🙂
Looks like the weather gave me some inspiration and in the last couple of days I made two cards. The first one is for one of the girls that I used to work with. She will be visiting her family (so far away from the USA) in November; she was waiting for this for almost 8 years. I am really happy for her; it will be definitely a happy day for her and her family! As you can see I used a perfect stamp for this from Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps. For the layout I followed Sweet Sunday Sketch.
For my second card I inked up cute little guy Oliver from The Greeting Farm. Love this sweet face! Of course I needed to play with Mercy’s Tuesday Sketch; it fits perfect to this image! Thank you Mercy!
Oliver asked me if he could join ATS Wednesday Challenge; this week it is all about boys. Of course I couldn’t say “no” to him; I think the colors of the BG Designer Papers look pretty earthy and close to a masculine kind of a card.
That is all for today. I will be back soon with more cards and stories. I wanted to share with you in the future about a fun way of remembering states and capitals of the USA. That is what Sergei is doing right now in his social studies class. We found a book that gives a very good way of memorizing it. 🙂 I think that by the time Sergei will finish his school I will have a double education in two languages.

I remember some fun books we used in our homeschool when the kids where younger. One showed pictures of bunnies jumping up & down on a skyscraper. It associated New York with the sky scrapper and the bunnies with Albany, NY’s capital! The kids still remember it! lol

Almost forgot to comment but couldn’t pass on saying how much I enjoyed both of these cards. I really like the image on your first card, she’s very sweet. Great layout on your 2nd card and as always excellent coloring.
Both are just wonderfulf! Your friend will love the first one and the second one is just so adorable!
