Third Day Of Christmas
Good Evening Everybody! Hope you all had a great weekend and enjoyed the time with family, friends or maybe crafting time!
Today I made a card for Paper Craft Planet Contest 12 days Of Christmas. Today you need to create a card with hen, rooster or owl! Wow! I was thinking how could I make it happen to be a part of this fun contest, and then I saw the stamp from Inkadinkado in my stash and inked it up!
Making this card was also quite a challenge for me, because it is my first try of stamping and coloring on Kraft paper. I don’t know if I have a good quality one, mine is from Wal-Mart. But the first try is always not perfect. In Russia we say:” First pancake is always lumpy!” So here is my pancake!
After I stamped and colored these roosters, I remembered a sketch that I saw at Lauren’s My Time, My Creations, My Stampendence blog. This was a good chance for me to try it!!! I am just amazed of Lauren’s beautiful work! Thank you Lauren for the inspiration!

Сегодня я решила поучавствовать в конкурсе на сайте Paper Craft Planet. Вы слышали о таком сайте? Этого своего рода планета для рукодельниц, кто очень любит творить чудеса с бумагой! Там проходит акция под названием 12 Дней Рождества. Каждый из спонсоров сайта предлагает ту или иную тему для изготовления открытки. Сегодня был третий день – изготовить открытку или любой другой предмет из бумаги с главным героем в виде курицы, петуха или совы (филина).
Поначалу я растерялась, а потом вспомнила, что у меня есть штампик от фирмы Inkadinkado с двумя любителями коктейля! Вот так у меня и получилась эта смешная открытка. Когда я делала эту открытку, то я в первый раз решила попробовать поработать с бумагой похожей на упаковку от крекеров или печенья, цвет очень похож на цвет от упаковки. Качество бумаги у меня было плоховато, но первый блин всегда комом!
Для открытки я использовала скетч с блога My Time, My Creations, My Stampendence. Я очень часто прихожу к этой замечательной девушке Lauren за вдохновением!

This is a great card. I love the color of kraft paper! I like how you rounded some of the corners on your background panels! Very cool!

Fantastic job! Its adorable!!! Getting colors to show up on kraft cardstock is hard. I usually try to add in a bit of white with either a gel pen or colored pencil first and just keep it simple with color.
