Hello to everybody!

Matching GameFirst of all I would like to thank all the ladies who wrote nice comments and didn’t let me give up! I think it was just not the right day. I just need more practice and the main thing is to believe in myself. That’s the most difficult part. Practice… I found a fun way on doing it. I decided first to learn how to fill up the small area of a stamped image. Where can you find lots of small pictures that match? Matching game! I decided to make a matching game for a very cute little girl. I stamped each image from the stamping set Enchanted Fairies twice on water color paper. Then I colored them with a small brush using water-coloring pencils, the ink from the lid, and Marvy Uchida water- based pencils. I used them all because I don’t have enough colors of pencils.

As you can see I also sponged them with ink. Then I mounted them on designer paper along with a textured cardstock. I made a little box following the tutorial by the very talented Leslie Miller. Her blog is so beautiful and inspirational. I enjoy looking through her pages and I am always amazed by her creativity and the effort she puts in her crafts! Thank You Leslie for sharing with us and for inspiring!

For my box I changed the dimensions. You can do lots of fun stuff for kids using stamps. And not only with stamps. My son likes to watch me when I am crafting. And he really enjoys doing something with me. He made a mini-album (I helped him a little bit with folding) with some stickers he had.

For his school project we made a Jacob’s ladder math dictionary. Our last project was an exploding mini-book. He is very proud of them. He keeps them in his secret drawer of his desk. I think that they are dear to him because he made them with me. It’s a memory of a time spent with mother and son…
