Happy Sunday everybody!!! Hope you weekend is going well!

We got some snow today, not a lot, but you can see little tiny bit on the porch and on the roofs of your neighbors! Winter is here already!

Today I finished a card for Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge. I just love Taylor’s  sketches! They are so much fun! 

When I saw Taylor’s sketch, I already knew who would be the main image for my card. Don’t you just love this deer! He is so cute! This stamp set Deer Friends is from Artful INKables.  The quality of the stamps is wonderful! They are really fun to color too! 

As you can see I stamped the leaves and then cut them out to create fall scene. When I finished coloring and cutting the leaves I realized that I don’t have papers that will go well with this layout and deer. That is a time when you remember your blogging-stamping friends! Thank you to Jami (you are so talented and I always come to catch some inspiration from you) who not only shares her talent and creativity with us, but also gives so many useful links and lots of good tips!  In one of her posts she shared a link to Shabby Princess digital scrapbooking place! Great place for people who love digital scrapbooking! They are sharing so many free downloads, so if you never tried digit-craft, before buying you can always try it first!

The card is finished and I am happy with the result! I am thinking about making a Hello from Wisconsin card with snowflakes. Just the right time! 

I also have some exciting news – I got my prize from Pink Poison!!! Thank you Marie for your challenge and great prizes! These stamps won’t wait to long to be inked!

Здравствуйте! Доброго Всем Воскресения! 

Как обычно по воскресеньям (уже вошло в привычку) у меня очередная открытка по скетчу от Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge.

Долго думать мне не пришлось, этого оленёнка я давно хотела оживить с помощью чернил и карандашей. Мне очень нравится разукрашивать карандашами Prisma и специальнам раствором для растушовки линий карандаша. Этот раствор что-то типо растворителя для красок, но сделан на основе минеральных масел, т.е. запаха никакого специфического нет. Существует ещё и специальная жидкость, которая называется Gamsol. До приобретения минерального масла для растушевки я пробовала использовать масло для детишек Джонсон Беби. В работе масло замечательно, единственный минус – остается след от масла на обратной стороне, но ведь это не беда, рисунок то все-равно будет приклеиваться на основу открытки или подложку. 

Техника этого разукрашивания очень проста. Нужно разукрасить близко к границе отштампованного рисунка по контуру, затем с помощью blending stumps (своего рода карандаши, сделанные из пресованной бумаги) растушевывать след от крандаша. Если Вы хотите закрасить фон, то нужно заштриховать фон полностью (насыщенность цвета будет зависеть от нажима на карандаш) и затем также растушевать цвет. Если у вас нет blending stumps, можно использовать ватные палочки (у каждого найдется в косметичке), желательно на деревянной палочке (удобнее, т.к. пластмассовая будет гнуться). 

Вернемся назад к открытке. Бумагу для открытки я распечатала с компьютера, нашла её на сайте Shabby Princess. Не оказалось ничего подходящего из тех запасов, что у меня есть.
